OGDENSBURG, NY - The Frederic Remington Art Museum announces an outgoing loan to the Ringling College of Art and Design’s Selby Gallery in Sarasota, Florida.
The current loan to the Selby Gallery includes twenty-six original works by Frederic Remington. The exhibit, entitled Treasures from the Frederic Remington Art Museum, consists of bronzes, paintings and drawings of the American West will run through September 11, 2010.

Remington Museum Awarded Operating Support
OGDENSBURG, NY - The Frederic Remington Art Museum has been advised of a grant for $10,100 from the New York State council on the Arts (NYSCA).
“Grants for general operating expenses are difficult to secure,” said museum Executive Director Ed LaVarnway. We’re grateful that NYSCA is able to provide this support in these very challenging economic times.”
This funding is made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, celebrating 50 years of building strong, creative communities in New York State’s 62 counties.
